Pumpkins In The Patch by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery
When Autumn arrives, one naturally thinks of pumpkins. We have a few choices when it comes to pumpkins. Stop by the grocery store, or go to a farm stand. We go to the source. The pumpkin patch. Our boys also helped load in and distribute pumpkins at a local church (a fundraiser for charity). But as I said, this year's pumpkins came directly from the patch. We like for our boys to find their own and learn how to assess the quality of the pumpkin for themselves. We also want them to learn that this is not just someone else's job; there is nothing wrong with getting the hands dirty and pull their own from the soil. Lastly, this is the support of the local farmer. If we don't support the farmers today, the produce will not be there tomorrow. Select any of the photos below for a more detailed view (and even more Autumnal Views). If you have any questions for us, please feel to contact Made From RI Gallery.
