“Between every two pines is a doorway to a new world.”  - John Muir

Wandering through the woods gives a sense of accomplishment. It's a test of finding one's way successfully. It's finding footing over leaf-covered rocks and roots. It's a way of giving ourselves the freedom to observe and think.

In later Autumn and in the Winter, the color of the woods changes. At the height of the day, it becomes brighter. The canopy of leaves has come to the ground and exposes the sky above. An ever-changing world to explore.
