Being on the edge, the front, of an incoming storm is awe-inspiring. The most amazing action is to turn around. It is a completely different world. The sky is stark blue, dotted with clouds. The sun shines bright. The water shows friendly blues and greens.

The water rushes into crags and inlets with gentle swells as they build to a crescendo. Tide pools glitter in reflection. The water is clear, and about to become dark. You know that you are standing in a special place and time.
