Narragansett Avant la Tempête: Light And Conclusion by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery

In this, we conclude our series of Narragansett Avant la Tempête... Narragansett Before The Storm. I do so on the day of another storm coming up the coast. And that is part of our conclusion. Inasmuch as Narragansett and its coast are famous for beautiful sunny days, it is equally known for its storms. The storms vary in intensity and danger, but they bring with them something to learn. And the possibility of learning something brings forth our fascination.

When I started speaking of this series in Narragansett Avant la Tempête, I spoke of meeting someone who learned something new about the coastal area and its geology. There is so much to learn here. In these concluding photos, we play with Physics and Optics, Oceanography, Geology, and Meteorology. And in all of it, like the excited Geologist that I spoke of in the first post, there is marvel and wonder at the ever changing color and light. That is the real beauty in this place.
