Dry Wind At East Matunuck Beach by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI GalleryThis is what a clear winter day looks like at the beach. That stark blue sky? That's the result of a lack of moisture in the air. On this day, the condition couples with a wind that dried everything out. As the waves moved in on one side, the sand blew along in sympathetic waves with no moisture to hold it down. The East Matunuck Beach wind turbine illustrates the strength of the wind. The tower was vibrating with a sound that indicated a material resonant frequency. The sky is blue with wispy clouds signifying dry air.
