Lighthouse Framed Out By Rocks by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery

There are moments that I happy to find a common sight (for me) in a different manner. On a sunny winter day, I found one such occurrence. I have passed Dutch Island Lighthouse countless times on ships and boats. It's a common sight on the West Passage of Narragansett Bay. At one time, I even walked to the lighthouse after bow-landing a small ship there.

Never though have I seen the lighthouse in Dutch Harbor in this manner. Crawling and climbing on the rocks of the Jamestown shore, this sight came upon me. Viewing Dutch Island Lighthouse framed out by the rocks.
