Fall's Fire Arrives In Bissel Cove by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI GallerySelect Image or Title To See In A Larger Format Fall colors never arrive the way we see them on a map. Fall foliage maps suggest a gradual change from green to red, yellow, and orange and from north to south. No, when fall colors arrive, it is a near thing. Overnight almost. As the sun begins painting the trees one morning, we notice that the greens turned to brighter colors. So it was at Bissel Cove this morning. I was actually there for other reasons. As the dawning sun began its process of illumination, I turned and noticed the colors of fall fire. To my surprise, it took my breath away.
