Fall Sunset On The Pettaquamscutt Shores. Photography And Text By Keith R WahlFall Sunset On The Pettaquamscutt Shores Select Image or Title To See In A Larger Format
These photos refer to sunset falling across the Pettaquamscutt River. It was not until I finished naming these photos that I realized that my wordplay caught up with me. The wordplay caught up with me in a good way that is. There is something about late in the day in the Fall season that does what it implies, it falls. Not only the leaves fall but also the air and the light. There is greater clarity to the air as particulate matter cools and falls to earth. The water settles at the end of the day and becomes glassy, so the light falls upon the mirror surface just so. In the distance, there is a couple flyfishing in the peace of it all as the whole scene falls together.
