As I climb up and finally come to rest upon a rocky crag at Beavertail point, I see a gull flying at my eye level. I catch the gull's eye and they, in turn, catch mine. I laugh as I have a thousand times before. We understand each other. The gull in flight and me playing at the shoreline. We are of a kind, jolly rovers along with the shoreline's wind.
