Fascination With The Rocky Shore by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery

One of the themes that I am currently exploring is "The Rocky Shore". Often, the social impression of the southern New England and Rhode Island shore is the beach.
I love the beach, don't get me wrong. I love an evening or morning on the beach with the sun and the sand. But where we live offers variety too.
What I love is that there is often variety within the variety. Nothing here is homogeneous. I tend to think of these matters in artistic or even literary themes. One can experience peace, serenity, drama, conflict not only in one day but standing in the same place at one time.
The problem from a photographer's perspective is that the environment is too rich. That's a problem that I like to have. I often find myself swept up in those moments and I don't want to leave. Often, the only limits are not only battery life and memory cards as well as physical and emotional.
