Saugatucket Southward by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery
Saugatucket Southward Contrast (Select Image or Title To See In A Larger Format)
There is a section of the Saugatucket River that meanders into Silver Spring Cove. Point Judith Pond is further beyond.
As the river travels it moves under roads and highways. I am standing on a bridge forming one of the residential roads.
On this early spring evening, the light is doing what the river does. It meanders. It is doing that thing where the sun ducks behind a cloud and reappears. Shadows are cast upon the budding trees as their young leaves form. And the light follows in sympathy with the Saugatucket.
