Uncle Sam Was A Quahog by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery(Select Image or Title To See In A Larger Format) We know that Yankee Doodle went to London on a pony named 'Macaroni'. Well, Uncle Sam presented a Quahog shell at Point Judith. This was in total respect to the Rhode Island State Shell, we are certain. Finding a rhyme for "Mercenaria mercenaria" we find difficult, however. The follow-up was to leave a fireworks display that considered our canine friends. It is a quiet "Pop!" that all might appreciate.
