Reflections are a matter of Physics. The angle of incidence is the same as the angle of reflection. When one reaches the water, there is a physical duality to the term of reflection. Here we experience the reflection of light and of the small waves themselves. The mirror surface reflection of light is an example of "spectacular reflection".

Observation of the clouds in the water's surface gives rise to "reflective thinking". This is the consideration of the larger context. The implications of an experience or action. It is the consideration of our feelings and reactions to the experience.

So it is on a warm, sunny day at Worden Pond. It's more of a lake than a pond, but those watery definitions are fluid. The grasses wave in the gentle waves. The greenery and the clouds reflecting from above. And as the seasons and times change, we can take some time to think. Perfect and spectacular reflection.
