Summer's Life Ring by Keith R Wahl, Made From RI Gallery(Select Image or Title To See In A Larger Format) We took a walk the other evening. The sun is still setting after seven o'clock. The timing of the astronomical event still denotes summer in our minds. Evening walks are a thing in the summer. As we approached the lake, we noted the life ring in the light of the setting sun. The "throwable device" (as we refer to it shipboard) could use some brightening up, we noted. It appears that the sun agreed. There was nobody splashing at this moment. Most of those who would be swimming are now back in school and doing homework. But it is nice to see this little symbolic lifeline to summer still active as fall approaches. If you enjoyed this post, please consider buying us a coffee to continue the work...
