Royal Harvest. Photography And Text By Keith R WahlSelect Image or Title To See In A Larger Format - See More Below
On a winter day, I sat down for a hot spot of tea with some biscuits. I prefer to sweeten my tea with a bit of honey. My preferred honey is as local as possible. The whole matter brought me back to see a small insect harvesting pollen. I happened up the scene as I was walking through Scalloptown Park in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. It was that time when it was not quite summering any longer, but it was not yet autumn either. Now, in the winter, I warm myself with my tea with honey. I must reflect on this moment and wonder if I recorded a contribution to this refreshing repast. If this is so, I offer my thanks.
