Late afternoon at the shore, an hour or two before sunset, is a muted, quiet affair. As the heat of the day dissipates, the air cools and the wind become a gentle breeze. The sky turns to muted pinks and blues.

At the southern end of Scarborough Beach, the look is antique. The appearance is like a childhood postcard. And to be honest, the view in question inspired a postcard. The view itself brings us back to a more carefree and innocent time in our minds. And this is why we visit our shore often.
