Sundays Make All Fishing Ports Feel Antique. Photography and Text by Keith R WahlNostalgic and romantic Select Image or Title to See in a Larger Format In the Fall, there is something about a fishing port that has an antique feel. That is not "antique" as in old, but "antique" as in nostalgic. A place we remember in a romantic setting. At least in Fall this is true. It all has to do with the look of the fishing boats, despite the newness of age. The colors of the sky in diminished light creating muted mattes enhance this feeling. The quiet on the water was due to a paucity of boats and the peel of a church bell in the distance as the Cormorants splashed nearby. These all make it feel calm, relaxed, and like a place that we were and want to be again.
