It's early on an Autumn morning. The northern sky takes on a purple hue as the sun breaks. The colors of Fall are in the leaves. A lone boat swings on a mooring. The flood tide makes itself known on the West Passage of Narragansett Bay.

This is part of what Rhode Island is. This is part of what Narragansett Bay is. This is where people spin hundreds of yarns from serene to exciting. And we, my family and I, get to live here. We appreciate what that means.
