Beached at SunsetThe view is gorgeous, and the sunset colors are sublime as we walk to the end of Narragansett Beach to the mouth of the Narrow River.

Clouds reaching out, catching the light at sunset as a beached inflatable boat is set in the foreground. The plow anchor of the boat is set in the sand to prevent the potential of boat floating off in the incoming tide.

The tidal Narrow River of Narragansett runs in the background. Winter storms built up the wetted sandbar in the river. Navigation for the coming season will be different with these changes.

For the moment, the sun has completed its task of warming the beach sands for the day. It comes to a lazy rest beyond the trees and clouds. It will be back tomorrow, bright and certain. And the beautiful cycle of Narragansett Beach will continue.
