99% Full 17 April 2022. Photography and Text by Keith R WahlSelect Image or Title to See in a Larger Format Stepping outside for a moment, the moon is hanging in the sky. It is not quite full. It was full the night before, the "Pink Moon" by its springtime name. But on the previous night, the clouds were covering the sky and we could not see the bright orb in the sky. On this night, the only concern was the light pollution from the neighbor's new lights. That and the candles from the birthday we had celebrated. As we mark the happiest of time, the moon continues to smile down upon us. And we take joy in the moon's appearance on this night. Almanac Data: Phase: Waning Gibbous 17 April 2022
