Spring Blossoms in the Park. Photography and Text by Keith R WahlSelect Image or Title to See in a Larger Format - See More Below New England has gained renown as a Fall foliage destination. But it should also gain acclaim for the blossoms of Spring as well! Not only are the blossoms gorgeous, but without them, there will be no foliage come autumn. But declaring something of autumn is getting ahead of ourselves. For this short time, we have these lovely blossoms. They are bright, beautiful, clustered, little wonders. The morning sun kisses each tiny petal with illumination. These are temporary jewels of the cool Spring morning. In all eventuality, like their Fall progeny, the blossom petals will fall to ground to give way to leaves. The leaves will shade us from the warm sun of summer. The fallen blossoms will fertilize and nourish the soil. And we will page back to the photos and remember their brightness and oh what cheer.
