Window Textures, Light, and Shadow. Photography and Text by Keith R WahlWindow Textures, Light, and Shadow Select Image or Title to See in a Larger Format - See More Below Have you ever noticed how many people walk? They look down. This is all about the common wonder of looking up. Look around. See what is going on around you. The world offers some pretty wonderful views if we look up. This is a window on a stone building at Brenton Point State Park in Newport, Rhode Island. A wood-framed window with thick glass, wrapped in stone, a keystone at the top. This window is full of complex textures at the outset. On a sunny spring day, the ancient glass reflects the clouds in a composite of light and shadow. How wonderful. Unexpected experiences and beautiful views are the reward for looking up.
