It's another rite of spring in nature. Rabbits surface from their den to forage for food. Someone walks a dog. The rabbit sees the dog. The rabbit runs like a, well, scared rabbit.

Once this little rabbit drama occurs, things become interesting. The rabbit finds what they perceive as a safe spot and attempts to blend in. They stay stock still among the ground cover as if a statue. And they wait in nervous stiffness waiting for the perceived danger to pass.

As a note, I use a lens to create the reach to see the rabbit. I am very committed to not disturbing or stressing the animal.
