Watching Plovers on the beach is the epitome of watching busy beings. They dart around the water's edge looking for it. The get to finding it on every wave. They are frantic with the passing of every wave because it must be there. So, with the receding of surf, the get to it. Busy, busy they are working for it.
But what is 'it'? Whatever it is, it must be important. We hope that they find it.
