Morning on the CoveA flock flies out of the early morning sky and over the boats of in Wickford Cove (Mill Cove) in North Kingstown, Rhode Island

The birds are flying over the cove and over the boats as they swing on their moorings. It is early morning, and the sun is rising, silhouetting the boats as they soar overhead.

Where are the birds flying? Somewhere. They will go there, and they will feed. Or sleep. Or sun themselves. This is what birds do.

And in kind the boats of summer wait for their owners on the cove. They too will sail somewhere. And somewhere seems to be a wonderful place to go.
