Napatree Seaside View. Photography and Text by Keith R WahlUnity in many parts Dunes of Napatree to Watch Hill Lighthouse Select Image or Title to See in a Larger Format The greatest resource that we have in Rhode Island is our shoreline. Napatree Point and Watch Hill on the water border with Connecticut are examples. The variety of views that they present is significant. This is a view that I especially enjoy. It shows a relationship between the dunes of the beach, the life of the grass on the dunes, the beach as it runs to the water, and the need for a lighthouse in the distance. It's more than the beach. It is more than water. It is more than the lighthouse. It is about how they work together. In this case, the clouds are in sympathy and give unity to the scene.
