Walking along the shore at Roger Wheeler State Beach, the post-Labor Day shells gather. The dragging of the beaches stops after Labor Day, and we see shells and wrack line life again. In other words, the beach becomes a beachcomber's dream.

The gentle waves of the Point Judith Harbor of Refuge appreciate the change as well. The waves comb the beaches as well as the humans. In this case, there is one clam shell at the tide line. Weighted with water and sand, a foamy wave reaches out and embraces this shell, welcoming it back.
