Two Jetties, Two Foggy Moods

Fog creates moods. At sea, mild anxiety and a touch of fear. This gives heightened awareness. On land, it creates a soft light that creates a contemplative mood.

On the beach this morning, between two jetties, both moods are present. There is a sense of awareness and a moment taken to examine what is going on in our lives. But this is what morning beach walks are for, to think about life and to consider its meaning. And that ray of light beyond the fog in the east is the hope of a clear view of a new day.
