Autumn's Tapestry

Autumn leaves, once green and bright,
Now turn to crimson, orange, gold,
A tapestry of hues untold,
A sight to fill the heart with light.

With spots and signs of wear they bear,
They fall with graceful, gentle flight,
A dance of colors in the air,
A dazzling show, a wondrous sight.

From branches high they gently float,
And flutter down to earth below,
A carpet soft, a fragrant coat,
Where summer's warmth has ceased to flow.

The autumn wind, with gentle sigh,
Whispers through the leaves' embrace,
A song of change, a lullaby,
As nature yields to winter's grace.

Oh, autumn leaves, so fair and bright,
Your beauty fills the air with cheer,
A fleeting glimpse of pure delight,
Before the winter's chill draws near.
