By the lake, a birch tree lies,
Its roots exposed beneath the skies.
But life persists, resilient still,
Though fate may bend and winds may chill.
The autumn leaves have turned to red,
A fiery crown upon its head.
The cycle turns, the seasons change,
And life goes on, though all may rearrange.
The evening falls, the sun descends,
But still the birch tree's spirit blends
With earth and sky and lake's embrace,
A testament to time and space.
Though fallen, yet the birch tree lives,
Its essence strong, its spirit thrives.
In autumn's glow, a symbol bright,
Of life's enduring strength and light.
