View the Moon or sit a while on a Fall Day? The choice is yours. Or do both!

Waxing Gibbous Moon 23 October 2023

Cold night's Harvest Moon,
Full and bright, a silver eye,
Autumn's silent hunt.

On the Hunt

The Hunter's Moon approaches, waxing strong,
A silver orb in heavens' dark embrace.
Five days from full, its light will linger long,
Illuminating earth's autumnal trace.

The Hunter's Moon, a time of harvest's yield,
When crops are gathered and the land prepares.
A time to hunt, to store, to winter shield,
And gather close to those who hold our cares.

The Hunter's Moon, a time of mystery,
When shadows lengthen and the air grows chill.
A time for stories told by fire's glee,
When spirits dance and ancient secrets thrill.

The Hunter's Moon, a time of change and growth,
When seasons turn and nature's cycle yields.
A time to reflect upon our own rebirth,
As darkness falls and starlight softly seals.

Seated by Worden Pond

A bench beside a pond,
On Autumn's golden shore,
Enjoy the view, my friend,
And linger for just a bit more.

Sit a While, Enjoy the View

On a bench with a simple plea,
"Sit a while, enjoy the view,"
On an Autumnal Sunday afternoon,
At Worden's Pond, so crisp and blue.

The leaves dance down in hues so bright,
A symphony of red and gold,
The sun casts its warm, golden light,
On waters still and stories untold.

A gentle breeze whispers through the trees,
A serenade of rustling leaves,
The air is crisp, the sky so clear,
A moment of peace, a moment to believe.

So sit a while, and let your mind wander,
Admire the beauty all around,
For life is precious, and moments fleeting,
And in the quiet, solace is found.

On Worden's Pond, this Autumn day,
On a bench with a simple plea,
Sit a while, and let your worries fade,
In the beauty of all that we see.
