Autumnal Acorn Capules

In the heart of the forest, where shadows reside,
On a stone wall, the acorn capules hide.
Their weathered brown forms, a tale they impart,
Of seasons gone by, and nature's great art.

Once vibrant and green, they danced in the breeze,
Atop mighty oaks, amidst rustling leaves.
But time's gentle hand, with its autumn embrace,
Has painted them hues, with a touch of grace.

Now nestled in stillness, they rest on the wall,
Their cups like tiny bowls, ready to enthrall.
A symphony of nature, in harmony profound,
Where acorns once blossomed, now gently aground.

The forest whispers secrets, as sunlight streams through,
Illuminating the capules, with a golden hue.
They stand as silent guardians, of stories untold,
Of nature's resilience, both brave and bold.
