In its pale glow, we trace the past,
When Earth was young, and seas amassed,
The moon's embrace, a cosmic dance,
Guiding our planet's fateful stance.

It whispers tales of tides and seas,
Of ancient life beneath the trees,
Of the unfolding grand design,
Unveiled by time's relentless shine.

And as we gaze upon its face,
We ponder futures yet to chase,
Of lunar outposts, dreams take flight,
Beneath the moon's ethereal light.

Hail, Last Quarter Moon, your gentle gleam,
A beacon in the starry stream,
A silent witness to our past,
A guiding star for journeys vast.
