Dockside in autumn,
Silver Spring Lake gleams.
Fishing lines and fall foliage,
A serene lakeside scene.

Dockside at Silver Spring Lake

In North Kingstown's autumn scene,
Dockside at Silver Spring Lake,
Where fall foliage paints the scene,
A place to fish and take a break.

Beneath the maples' fiery glow,
The lake reflects the sky above,
And as the leaves begin to fall,
The air is filled with scents of love.

A gentle breeze caresses my face,
As I cast my line into the deep,
And hope that soon a fish will bite,
And break the silence of my sleep.

But even if I catch no fish,
I'm grateful for this time and place,
To be dockside at Silver Spring,
And witness nature's autumn grace.
