Burning bright,
Against the blue sky.

A farewell gift,
From summer's bloom,
As winter draws nigh.

Goldenrod in Fall

Goldenrod, goldenrod,
Brightening up the fall,
Your slender spikes so tall,
Your blossoms like a golden shawl.

You dance in the gentle breeze,
Your golden dust so fine,
A feast for bees and butterflies,
A symphony of color and design.

You stand in fields and meadows,
By roadsides and along streams,
A beacon of hope and light,
Amidst the fading autumn dreams.

Thus, goldenrod, goldenrod,
We thank you for your grace,
For bringing beauty to the fall,
And filling our hearts with cheer and space.
