The Full Worm Moon is an annual astronomical event in our skies. So, it is inevitable that the sky and weather will do something for me to sweat out whether I am able to see it. I was fortunate to have it in view.

There were clouds in the sky. This is significant to the season. The air is starting to moisten as the earth warms. There are longer days, and this is where the Worm Moon gains its name. There is more atmospheric and sub-terrestrial activity. This includes worms tilling soil for planting.

As the clouds scud across the sky and the light of the moon, we know that spring is on the way. And as such, the moon itself provides the silver lining for these clouds.
