This observation of the moon comes on a big week for earth's natural satellite. The "Pink Moon" will arrive on April 6th, Maundy Thursday. It is also known as the "Pesach", "Pascahal", or "Passover Moon". This is the week that we see the announcement of a planned return to the moon by the United States.
