The gull and the quahog are two very different creatures. The gull is a free-flying bird that soars through the sky. The quahog is a shellfish that lives on the bottom of the ocean.

But despite their differences, the gull and the quahog are connected. The gull relies on the quahog for food. And the quahog helps to keep the beach clean by filtering the water.

The next time you see a gull on the beach, take a moment to appreciate its beauty and its importance to the ecosystem. And remember the quahog, the humble shellfish that provides food for the gull and helps to keep the beach clean.
