Here on Matunuck Beach
A child builds with might and main
All of the day, from morning to night

A castle of sand and stone
The turrets are shells from the deep
The towers reach high to the sky

The moat is filled with the tide
The drawbridge is made of seaweed
The castle is strong and secure

The child is happy and free
The castle is his creation
He dreams of the day it will come true

That his castle will stand forever
A monument to his imagination
A testament to his skill

The wind and the waves will come
But the castle will not fall
It will stand strong against the storm

The child will grow up and leave
But his castle will remain
A reminder of his childhood dreams

Of a place where anything is possible
Where the only limit is the sky
Where the imagination is king
