Winter South County Slant Shadow's Way

Split Rail Trail Winter View

Beneath the gold-slung hand of sunset, where the woodcloak suggests enigmas and the path remembers tread, a fence of split rails stands as guide.
On its sun-touched side, the earth breathes bare, a testament to passage, while the shadowed face clings tight to winter's cloak.

Let this be a sign, wayfarer: where light leads, warmth follows, melting burdens as it goes.
Yet, even in the chill, a path remains, etched by unseen feet, a promise that even the deepest frost will yield to the sun's caress.

So walk, child of light, in the slant shadow's way.
Embrace the warmth where it falls, but fear not the cold, for it too shall pass, leaving behind a trail for others to follow.
