Shell Sanctuary

A Covering Shell

A pearl of ocean's memory, bleached white,
Holds secrets whispered by retreating tide.
Beneath its curve, a haven from the light,
Sand shelters stone, in fragile peace tied.

But ocean's heart beats constant, deep and strong,
And soon the wave will claim its whispered song.
