The Port of Galilee is a working fishing village located in the town of Narragansett, Rhode Island. It is one of the busiest fishing ports on the East Coast, and is home to the largest fishing fleet in Rhode Island. The port is also a major hub for year-round ferry service to Block Island.The port is located on Point Judith, a peninsula that juts out into Narragansett Bay. The bay is a large estuary that is home to a variety of marine life, including fish, shellfish, and whales. The port is also home to a number of beaches, including Roger Wheeler State Beach and Salty Brine State Beach.
